  • I had been diagnosed 5 yrs ago after several yrs of not knowing what was wrong with me. I can’t express how difficult it’s been for me. I have pain everyday of my life and it’s very debilitating. I already had some issues with my back and diabetic neuropathy. At first I couldn’t tell what pain I was having until I started to understand how they differed. Now that I understood the difference my Dr. put me on Lyrica well 2 yrs later I had suffered an anphylactic reaction to it and that was the end of “SOME” pain relief. Can’t use a lot of the meds that might take care of it cuz I’ve developed an allergy to them. Now I’m on narcotic meds I take 40 mg of Morphine, 20 mg of Oxycodone and 20 mg of Tizanadine 2x a day. Yeah it’s a lot but so far it’s the only combo that will actually take the harshness out of the pains I have everyday. It is a very painful and frustrating and debilitating disease and there needs to be a discovery on a drug that will control the pain. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring more awareness because we need you. The people with this disease suffer a lot in silence because others won’t believe us because we look “NORMAL” I’ve had people tell me “there ain’t nothing wrong with you you’re just looking for attention”. That hurts. This is my story. Thanks for hearing me out.
