  1. Having Fibromyalgia would be traumatic enough for someone, never mind having to add a thyroid hormone imbalance to it. It seems like a torturous experience for anyone to have to endure. Exercising daily and keeping to a healthy lifestyle is key to fighting any disease or ailment.

    1. I was finally diagnosed with Fibro 4 and a half years ago, this last 2 months I was much worse and over the past 6 months my weight ballooned even thought I watched what I ate. I blamed the medication as do many and felt anxious going out and didn’t want people to see me. I was having regular blood tests and after a few my GP rang me to say I was continuing to show I had an underactive thyroid. It had never been mentioned but did explain the increased issues and the even more weight gain ever tho I had stopped the main cause of my weight gain. It fells like a lot to take in and you go through spells of feeling like it’s 1 thing after another. I’m lucky the GP and hospital support I receive is great and I couldn’t have got through the last 18 months without them.

  2. Great tips here. And not just to be able to look out for the clients I’ll be working with, but also for ourselves. So much good info on these posts.
